Komma Films’ Jazz Jive Swings Brooklyn
Posted: March 4th, 2009 | Author: bresky | Filed under: PreProduction |Monday, March 2nd, 2009: A mob of art thirsty film supporters braved the fluke “Winter Snap,” to support Komma Films and raise funds for their current project: Freshman Year. Any weaker film fans would have stayed at home, but driven by communal artistic vision they trudged through the Winter Spring Wonderland to Pane & Vino on Smith Street in the heart of Brooklyn. The smooth notes of the jazz ensemble Equilibrium set the tone of the night led by Nicholas Mauro. Accompanied by great food, wine and fabulous friends the Jazz Jive was a huge success. The event was a celebration of artistic collaboration, and the fundraiser would not have been such a success had it not been for many generous contributors:
- Jacob Davis Photography- Bay Area Based Professional Photographer
- 80%20- Stella Burchard and Her Company’s Stellar Foot Apparel
- Yoga Sole- An Enlightening Yoga Studio in Windsor Terrace
- Almond Bar Restaurant- Flatiron District’s Hippest French Bistro
For all who came together on that snowy night, we thank you for your support
